Basket of fresh produce

Trying something new.

Often times, we use items that we buy from the grocery store only for their intended or obvious purpose. Salad dressing for salad, maple syrup for pancakes or waffles, and fruit for dessert or a snack, but there are so many more cool things we can do with these things! Below are some innovative ideas to get the creative gears in your mind to spin in the opposite direction and look at ingredients from a different perspective. There are no mistakes in food, only lessons in taste and preference. So, try dipping your bacon in chocolate, top ice cream with popcorn, and thrown some coffee into that braised pork roast! The whole point is to have fun with new flavours and to learn to adapt with the ingredients you buy!

Fun Facts About Asparagus:

  • Asparagus are grown underground until the tips peak through the soil.
