About Farm Boy

From humble beginnings, Jean‑Louis and Colette Bellemare opened the doors to their first store in 1981. They had one goal in mind: to bring their community the freshest produce possible at excellent value.

Each morning, our buyers visit local markets to hand‑select only the highest‑quality fruits and vegetables for customers to enjoy. Delivered to Farm Boy stores daily, we get you closer to the farm by sourcing only the best local and international selections.

As our diverse product range continues to grow—including our wildly popular Farm Boy Private Label line-up—we remain committed to providing customers with an exceptional fresh‑market experience, unparalleled customer service, and a welcoming, inspiring environment.

Did you know?

Farm Boy has its own line of expertly curated Private Label products featuring hundreds of exclusive items.

All Farm Boy stores feature a Farm Boy Chef’s Market with Hot Bars and Salad Bars serving fresh breakfast, lunch, and dinner options.

Farm Boy makes many of our own products from scratch without artificial flavours, colours, or preservatives, including customer favourites—Artisan Sausages, Gourmet Burgers, and Fresh Soups.
