Absolutely! If your purchase is eligible for Salad Bar Card points, please send a clear picture of your full receipt and your Salad Bar Card number to [email protected], where our Customer Care Team will have your points added. Dinners / Catering
To order catering, please visit our catering website. This includes the full menu and the minimum turnaround time to place an order. Depending on the catering item and your desired pickup date, items will need to be ordered 48-72 hours ahead of time. Catering can also be ordered and paid for by visiting your nearest store.
Indulgence Dinners can be ordered and paid for online or by visiting your nearest store. Please note that dinners are available as supplies last and we suggest ordering early to avoid disappointment.
Online orders can be paid for using credit card and orders placed in store can be paid using credit card, Interac, Farm Boy gift card, or cash.
Unfortunately, our Indulgence Dinners are only available for pickup on the date specified. If you are not able to order this dinner, we will have another delicious dinner available in the coming weeks!
While orders can be cancelled at any time up until time of pickup, for a full refund, it is preferred that your order is cancelled 48 hours prior to pickup.
Orders can be cancelled by contacting Farm Boy Customer Care, where our Agents will start the process of cancelling your order. Orders placed online will be refunded in full back to the card used to place the order. Orders placed in store will need to be refunded in store. Please note that all refunds may take up to ten business days to show on your credit card statement.

Typically, our Indulgence Dinners can be refrigerated for 3 days before eating. However, we recommend eating your dinner on the date you picked up to ensure that it is enjoyed as fresh as possible.
We have offered a plant based Indulgence Dinner menu in the past, and suggest keeping an eye out for any we might offer again in the future. At this time, most of our Indulgence Dinners include meat and/or seafood.
We offer our “I Can’t Believe it’s not General Tao Chicken” which is vegan, and our Vegetarian Wrap Platter, among the other side dishes, platters, and salads that do not include any meat products. While there are more vegetarian than vegan options available, please feel free to contact us if you have any questions regarding our catering menu items.
While there are items on our catering menu that do not specifically contain wheat/gluten and there are dishes in our Indulgence Dinners that may not specifically contain wheat/gluten, these items are produced in a facility where wheat/gluten is present and cannot be guaranteed to be gluten free.

The Indulgence Dinners are refrigerated in store and require 20-30 minutes of reheating time, depending on the dinner. If you are not preparing the dinner right away, refrigeration is required until you are ready to start reheating. Our Indulgence Dinners are carefully packaged into individual containers inside of an easy to carry takeout box with handle, and includes reheating and plating instructions as well.
Reheating and plating instructions are included on the bottom of your confirmation email. They should also be included in the dinner package of each Indulgence Dinner. However, if the instructions are missing, they are also available on our website.

While we take steps to minimize the risk of cross-contamination, our catering and Indulgence Dinners, along with many products in our Chef Departments, are produced in a facility where these common allergens are present: peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, milk, eggs, fish/seafood, soy, wheat/gluten, sulphites, mustard.
If you have a specific allergy or diet restriction, we recommend purchasing products that are specifically marked “gluten free”, “vegan”, etc. If you have any questions regarding allergens in certain products, please feel free to contact us.

Gift cards can be purchased at the checkouts in all of our stores. Gift cards cannot be used for online purchases.
Unfortunately, we do not offer delivery from any of our stores. However, Voila grocery delivery offers hundreds of Farm Boy Private Label products for delivery in various regions across Ontario. For more information, please visit the Voila website.

We do not offer curbside pickup at any of our stores.
Fruit baskets can be ordered by visiting the Chef Department in all stores. Fruit baskets must be ordered at minimum 24 hours prior to your desired pickup date and paid for in store when placing the order. Fruit baskets cannot be ordered online or by phone.
You can make your request when placing your order, however modifications may not be able to be accommodated. The fruit in the baskets is subject to product availability.
We do not offer delivery.
Most of our stores offer free parking, however some stores have paid parking that can be validated at checkout. There are a few stores without any designated/validated parking. For more information regarding parking at each specific store, please click here.
Gift cards can only be used when placing orders in store for Indulgence Dinner and any other catering orders. Gift cards cannot be used when ordering online.
We accept Interac, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, ApplePay, Farm Boy gift cards, and cash.
Sobeys gift cards are not accepted at our stores. Farm Boy gift cards cannot be used at Sobeys stores or any other Empire retailer either.
To subscribe to our e-newsletter, you can click here and subscribe by selecting your preferred store and inputting your email address. This will give you access to our flyer a day earlier!
Our flyers are emailed out based on proximity to the nearest store, even though your nearest store might not be the one you shop at more regularly. If that is the case, we suggest viewing the flyer online or by subscribing to our e-newsletter and indicating your preferred store when subscribing.
The ‘Good Catch’ program is essentially a Farm Boy umbrella standard for four external certifications: MSC, ASC, Ocean Wise or BAP approved product. Our ‘Good Catch’ symbol guarantees that the specifically marked product has been certified green and caught or farmed in an environmentally friendly way.
All Farm Boy milk bottles (milk, chocolate milk, cream, and seasonal eggnog) can be returned at checkout where the cashier will reimburse you the $2 for each bottle. Please note we only accept Farm Boy bottles.

Many of our Farm Boy Private Label items are Kosher. To identify if an item is Kosher, you can look for the OVH symbol on the package.
Rideau Bakery breads are available for purchase at all Ottawa stores. To purchase Rideau Bakery breads at stores outside of the Ottawa area, please click here. Select Rideau Bakery breads can be ordered for in store pickup, and should be ordered at minimum 96 hours prior to your desired pickup date.

Our delicious Farm Boy Organic Eggnog is seasonal and is usually in stock between the end of November and beginning of January, while supplies last.
In an effort to reduce the use of single-use plastics in our stores, we eliminated plastic bags and encourage customers to bring their reusable grocery bags when shopping. Our cashiers would be happy to pack your bags for you still! In making this switch, we still have reusable and paper grocery bags available for purchase at the checkouts.
