Ottawa, ON (April 18, 2018) – Ontario’s fastest growing local fresh food chain, Farm Boy today announced it will bring its wholesome and healthy, fresh market shopping experience to Oakville.
Set to open this fall in the Oakwoods Centre at 1907 Iron Oak Way, located at the corner of Upper Middle Road East and Joshuas Creek Drive, the 23,250 sq. ft. Farm Boy store will create 150 new jobs for the community and true to their roots promises to deliver local shoppers a world-class experience with abundant fresh foods and exceptional customer service. This marks the 27th Farm Boy location which began over 36 years ago in Cornwall, Ontario.

In addition to plentiful varieties of farm fresh produce, butcher quality meats, artisan cheese and fresh dairy, Oakville residents can look forward to plenty of locally made products and fresh, delicious chef-inspired meals with a fast-casual restaurant experience that includes mouth-watering, made to order artisan pizza, sushi and plenty of sweet treats and savoury favourites made from scratch in the Farm Boy Kitchen.
The store will also introduce a made-to-order fresh grill station that will offer restaurant quality breakfasts, lunches and dinners. With a menu that changes daily, the new station will feature tasty selections like grilled paninis, seared Farm Boy sausages and gourmet grilled cheese; all made hot and ready to take home or enjoy in the store’s comfortably designed, Wi-Fi enabled eating area.
