The fresh food market expands throughout Ontario, setting the standard for Ontario grocery shoppers
Ottawa, ON (June 13, 2019) – FARM BOY, Ontario’s fastest growing fresh food retailer announced today that it will bring its popular fresh-market shopping experience to St. Catharines, ON. Set to open in early 2020, the new 24,512 sq. ft. store, located at 295 Fourth Avenue West, will create 120 new jobs in the city.
True to Farm Boy roots, the location will deliver local shoppers a world-class food experience with exceptional customer service and an abundant selection of the freshest foods. In addition to plentiful farm fresh produce, the store will showcase butcher quality meats, artisanal cheese and fresh dairy. Customers can also look forward to a terrific selection of locally made products and plant-based foods, as well as sweet and savoury treats made from scratch in the Farm Boy Kitchen. For busy shoppers looking to eat well on the run, Farm Boy will be serving up their fresh, delicious chef-inspired meals with a hot bar, salad bar, and fast-casual restaurant experience that includes mouth-watering, gourmet pizzas and freshly rolled sushi.
The store will also include a made-to-order grilling station that will offer high quality breakfast, lunch and dinner with daily features, all ready to take home or enjoy hot in the store’s comfortably designed, Wi-Fi-enabled seating area.
