Plant-Based Beef and Broccoli

Looking for an easy-to-make plant-based or vegan meal? This plant-based beef and broccoli recipe is easy to prepare and extra delicious. Feel free to substitute your favourite meatless protein in place of the plant-based beef for your own variation.
Ingredients
- 1 pack Farm Boy™ Vegan Beef-less Tenders Textured Soy Protein (350 g) thawed
- 1 1/3 cups Farm Boy™ Teriyaki Cooking Sauce divided
- ¼ cup water
- 1 head broccoli trimmed and broken into small florets (5 cups)
- 1 Tbsp Farm Boy™ Vegetable Cooking Oil
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 2 Tbsp ginger minced
- 3 cups cooked rice
- 1 Tbsp sesame seeds for garnish
Directions
- In medium bowl, combine Farm Boy™ Vegan Beef-Less Tenders with 1 cup Farm Boy™ Teriyaki Cooking Sauce and toss to combine. Allow to marinate while you prep everything else.
- In large skillet with lid, place water and bring to a boil over high heat. Add broccoli and cover. Steam for 3 minutes, until broccoli is crisp tender. Remove broccoli and reserve.
- Wipe out skillet and add Farm Boy™ Vegetable Cooking Oil. Add garlic and ginger and cook over medium-high heat until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
- Add marinated Farm Boy™ Vegan Beef-less Tenders and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add broccoli and the remaining 1/3 cup sauce and bring to a boil. Mix well and cook for 2 minutes.
- Serve over rice, garnished with sesame seeds.
