Maple Almond Cheesecake

When preparing for a celebratory meal, a beautiful cheesecake makes an impressive addition to any menu. This maple cheesecake features an almond crust, and the almond maple caramel topping takes it over the top!

Rich, creamy and decadent, this cheesecake is sure to please your family and friends. Best of all, it is better when made ahead, so you can save some time on your prep. Top with the caramel just before serving. If you happen to have leftovers, you can freeze individual portions; and if you want to make extra, the Maple Caramel Sauce can stand alone as a delicious topping for our vanilla ice cream.


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Grease an 8” springform pan.
  3. For crust, in medium bowl combine melted butter, almond flour, egg and salt and mix until smooth.
  4. Using your hands or a spoon, pat dough evenly onto prepared pan, going up 1” the side of the pan. Prick all over with a fork.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes and then let cool 15 minutes.
  6. For filling, place cream cheese, maple sugar, vanilla extract, salt and flour in the bowl of a food processor or mixer bowl and process until smooth, scraping down bowl as needed. Add maple syrup and eggs and mix until thoroughly combined.
  7. Pour mixture into prepared pan; tap pan on counter a few times to remove air bubbles.
  8. Place pan on a sheet pan and place in the oven. Bake 60-70 minutes, or until edges of cake are firm but the centre is still jiggly. Remove from oven and let cake cool completely. Chill thoroughly before topping and serving.
  9. For maple caramel sauce, in medium saucepan combine cream and maple syrup. Bring to a boil and cook over high heat, uncovered for about 6 minutes, swirling the pan often. Reduce heat to low and simmer for another 5 minutes, until thickened. Stir in almonds and salt.
  10. Drizzle sauce over cheesecake before serving.

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 Tbsp flour
  • 1/2 cup Farm Boy™ Amber Maple Syrup (250 ml)
  • 3 large eggs room temperature
  • Maple Caramel Sauce
  • 3/4 cup whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup Farm Boy™ Amber Maple Syrup (250 ml)
  • 1/2 cup Farm Boy™ Roasted Unsalted Almonds (325 g)
