Ground Beef Taco Bowl

Directions

  1. In large frying pan, heat Farm Boy™ Vegetable Cooking Oil and cook beef, breaking up clumps, until no longer pink.
  2. Add onion and Farm Boy™ Garlic Flowers and cook until onion is soft.
  3. Add Farm Boy™ Organic Tomato Paste, Farm Boy™ Taco Seasoning, and water. Cook until most of the liquid evaporates.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. In 4 bowls, mound beef, rice, Farm Boy™ Organic Black Beans, corn, and tomatoes.
  6. Garnish with Farm Boy™ 18% Sour Cream, Farm Boy™ Fresh Mild Salsa, Farm Boy™ Organic Medium Cheddar Cheese, green onions, and cilantro.
  7. Serve with Farm Boy™ Guacamole and Farm Boy™ Natural Tortilla Chips.

  • 650 g extra lean ground beef (or chicken/turkey if you prefer)
  • 1 onion diced
  • 1 tsp Farm Boy™ Garlic Flowers
  • 2 Tbsp Farm Boy™ Organic Tomato Paste
  • 3 tsp Farm Boy Taco Seasoning
  • 1 cup water
  • Farm Boy™ Fleur de Sel to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • For the Bowls
  • 4 cups cooked rice
  • 1 can Farm Boy™ Organic Black Canned Beans (398 ml) rinsed
  • 1 cup corn kernels
  • 1 cup grape tomatoes halved
  • 1/2 cup Farm Boy™ Organic Medium Cheddar Cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup Farm Boy™ 18% Sour Cream
  • 1/2 cup Farm Boy™ Fresh Mild Salsa
  • cilantro leaves for garnish
  • 1 cup Farm Boy™ Guacamole
  • Farm Boy™ Natural Tortilla Chips
