If you’re looking for a dessert to impress this holiday season, look no further than our Gingerbread Swiss Roll Trifle! Very simple to put together, it makes a showstopper at your dinner table. Best of all, it can be made in advance and feeds a crowd!

Directions
In mixer bowl, combine 1 ½ cups whipping cream and sour cream. Whip until stiff peaks form.
In a separate bowl, combine remaining 1 ½ cups whipping cream, caramel syrup and ground cinnamon. Whip until stiff peaks form.
Line edges and bottom of trifle bowl with slices of gingerbread Swiss rolls. Drizzle with 1 Tbsp of whiskey (if using).
Spread 1/2 of the caramel cream, followed with 1/4 of the cookie chips and another layer of gingerbread rolls. Spread 1/2 of the sour cream whipping cream. Top with 1/4 of the cookie chips and another layer of gingerbread rolls and a drizzle of whiskey (if using).

Finish with a layer of the remaining whipping cream and a sprinkling of the remaining cookie chip crumbs and dried cranberries. Chill for at least 6 hours, but best if overnight.
