Citrus Lemonade

Courses: Drinks

  • Serves: Makes 2 Litres

  • Difficulty: Easy

Winter is prime time for citrus and it is when we find the most variety in our stores. One of the easiest ways to enjoy all kinds of citrus at the same time is to make a delicious lemonade!

Here’s a little tip from our kitchen: if you are planning to juice citrus, leave them on the counter for a day instead of refrigerating them – they will be much easier to press and you will likely get more juice out of the fruit.

Directions

  1. Wash fruit and then juice using a reamer or a citrus press.
  2. Pass juice through strainer to remove seeds, you should have at least 2 cups.
  3. In 2 litre pitcher, pour in orange, lime, lemon and clementine juices.
  4. Add enough water to fill the pitcher.
  5. Stir in honey to taste.
  6. Serve on ice, garnished with mint leaves.

Ingredients

  • 3 navel or juice oranges
  • 2 limes
  • 1 lemon
  • 4 clementines
  • 1 1/2 litres water
  • Farm Boy™ White Liquid Honey (500 g) to taste
  • mint sprigs for garnish
