Beer-Braised Sausages with Sauerkraut

Directions

  1. In Dutch oven, heat olive oil and cook bacon until almost crispy.
  2. Add onion and garlic and cook over medium low heat until golden.
  3. Bring to a boil, then turn down to simmer and cook, partially covered for 30-40 minutes, until liquid is reduced by half.
  4. Serve with Farm Boy™️ Mustard and roasted potatoes.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Farm Boy™️ Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 150 g (1 cup) Farm Boy™️ Double-Smoked Bacon , chopped.
  • 2 Large onions , sliced (4 cups).
  • 2 Garlic cloves , minced.
  • 2 cups Farm Boy™ Sauerkraut (796 ml) , drained.
  • 1 1/2 cups Beer
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • Farm Boy™️ Octoberfest Sausages
  • Salt and pepper . to taste.
