
Weekend mornings are perfect for indulging in a sweet breakfast. These banana pancakes topped with banana caramel sauce are delicious and definitely crave-worthy. Starting with our buttermilk pancake mix makes this recipe pretty quick to put together. And if you have leftover sauce, it goes great with ice cream!
Directions
- In medium bowl, combine pancake mix and water.
- Stir in hemp hearts and diced bananas.
- Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat and melt a bit of butter.
- Pour batter into pan ¼ cup at a time.
- Cook pancakes until bubbles appear on the surface, about 2-3 minutes, then flip and cook another 2 minutes.
- Repeat, greasing with butter in between batches, until all batter is done.
- For sauce, melt 1 Tbsp butter in frying pan over medium heat and add sliced bananas.
- Cook bananas over medium high heat, flipping after 2-3 minutes, until golden and caramelized.
- Add banana caramel sauce and cook for 2 minutes.
- Serve pancakes topped with banana caramel sauce.

- 2 ripe bananas diced
- 1 Tbsp butter
- Banana Caramel Sauce
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 2 bananas sliced ¼” thick
- 2/3 cup Farm Boy™ Banana Bread Caramel Sauce (220 g)
