Banana Pancakes with Banana Caramel Sauce

Weekend mornings are perfect for indulging in a sweet breakfast. These banana pancakes topped with banana caramel sauce are delicious and definitely crave-worthy. Starting with our buttermilk pancake mix makes this recipe pretty quick to put together. And if you have leftover sauce, it goes great with ice cream!

Directions

  1. In medium bowl, combine pancake mix and water.
  2. Stir in hemp hearts and diced bananas.
  3. Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat and melt a bit of butter.
  4. Pour batter into pan ¼ cup at a time.
  5. Cook pancakes until bubbles appear on the surface, about 2-3 minutes, then flip and cook another 2 minutes.
  6. Repeat, greasing with butter in between batches, until all batter is done.
  7. For sauce, melt 1 Tbsp butter in frying pan over medium heat and add sliced bananas.
  8. Cook bananas over medium high heat, flipping after 2-3 minutes, until golden and caramelized.
  9. Add banana caramel sauce and cook for 2 minutes.
  10. Serve pancakes topped with banana caramel sauce.

  • 2 cups pancake mix
  • 1 1/8 cup water
  • 2 Tbsp Farm Boy™ Hemp Hearts (454 g)
  • 2 ripe bananas diced
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • Banana Caramel Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 2 bananas sliced ¼” thick
  • 2/3 cup Farm Boy™ Banana Bread Caramel Sauce (220 g)
