Grimmway Farms has issued a recall of select Organic Whole Carrots and Organic Baby Carrots

Grimmway Farms has recalled certain organic whole and baby carrots due to potential contamination with E. coli O121, a bacterium that can cause severe illness and/or death. The recall affects organic carrots sold at various retailers across North America. The recall pertains to:
- Organic whole carrots sold between August 14 and October 23, 2024.
- Organic baby carrots with best-if-used-by dates from September 11 to November 12, 2024.
These products are no longer in stores, but may still be in consumers’ refrigerators or freezers.

To date, the only reported illnesses and deaths have been in the USA. Affected products should not be consumed and must be discarded. All surfaces that came into contact with the organic carrots should also be cleaned thoroughly.
