Feed The Dream Grants

We’re awarding two grants valued at $10,000 each, to provide youth with the funds they need to chase their sporting dreams.

Every young athlete deserves the chance to chase their dreams. That’s why Farm Boy is proud to introduce the Farm Boy Feed The Dream Grants—supporting Ontario youth who are passionate about sport, committed to their community, and driven to go further.

What Winners Receive

Each grant includes: $5,000 cash

To help cover sports-related costs such as equipment, travel, training, or competition fees.

$5,000 in Farm Boy Groceries

Nutritious, fresh food is essential for growing athletes, and a portion of the grant helps keep the whole family nourished all year long.

Who Can Apply

Applications are open to all Ontarians nominating a young athlete who:

  • Is between 5 and 16 years old.
  • Lives in Ontario.
  • Is actively enrolled in an organized sport within their local community.
  • Has parent/guardian permission to be nominated.

Anyone can submit a nomination—parents, coaches, mentors, or community members.

How to Apply

  1. Complete the online application form below by February 15, 2026.
  2. Provide your contact information.
  3. Parental consent for the participating minor.
  4. Share details about the young athlete you’re nominating.
  5. Tell us their story—how sport inspires them and how the grant would make a difference.

Applications open: January 7, 2026

Applications close: February 15, 2026

What We’re Looking For

Our review committee will score nominations based on:

  • Nominee’s age, sport, and Ontario location.
  • Clear, thoughtful descriptions about the nominee.
  • How their involvement in organized sport stands out.
  • How the grant would positively impact their athletic journey.

Each application receives a score out of 15.

The nominees with the highest scores will be selected. In the event of a tie, the winner will be selected through a random draw.

When Winners Will Be Announced

Recipients Contacted: March 9, 2026.

Public Announcement: March 9–13, 2026.

Winners may also be featured in local news stories celebrating their accomplishments and community impact.

All winners will be invited to attend the Farm Boy event in March 2026 (attendance optional).
