The fresh food market is opening their newest location in downtown Ottawa — changing the grocery landscape for the city’s urban shoppers.
OTTAWA, ON (February 13, 2020) – FARM BOY, Ontario’s fastest growing fresh food retailer announced today that it will be opening the doors to their popular fresh-market shopping in its newest location in downtown Ottawa. Set to open March 5th 2020, the new, 29,000 sq. ft. Metcalfe store will be located at 193 Metcalfe Street.
True to Farm Boy roots, the locations will deliver local shoppers a world-class food experience with exceptional customer service and abundant selections of the freshest foods. In addition to plentiful farm fresh produce, the stores will showcase butcher quality meats, artisanal cheese and fresh dairy. Customers can also look forward to terrific selections of locally made products and plant-based foods, as well as sweet and savoury treats made from scratch in the Farm Boy Kitchen.
For busy shoppers looking to eat well on the run, Metcalfe will be serving up fresh, delicious chef-inspired meals with hot bars, salad bars, and will offer a fast-casual restaurant experience including mouth-watering gourmet pizzas and freshly rolled sushi.
The store will include made-to-order grilling stations that offer high quality breakfast, lunch and dinner with daily features, all ready to take home or enjoy hot in comfortably designed, Wi-Fi-enabled seating areas.
