Butter Chicken


Our own recipe for Northern India’s most popular curry– murgh makhani. Lightly spiced, tender pieces of chicken in a rich, aromatic tomato sauce, finished with cream.

To Prepare

  1. Combine butter chicken with 1 ¼ cups of water in a large saucepan.
  2. Bring temperature to 165°F, stirring often, about 25-35 minutes.
  3. Transfer to serving bowl, and garnish with chopped cilantro.

Adults and youth (ages 13 and older) need an average of 2,000 calories a day, and children (ages 4 to 12) need an average of 1,500 calories a day. However, individual needs vary.
