Grilled Chili Dogs

Summer calls for easy meals, and what could be easier and tastier than a good old-fashioned chili dog? Best of all, using our Farm Boy Sweet Potato and Black Bean Chili makes this meal a breeze!

Simply grill hot dogs, toast buns and warm up the chili. Top your dogs any way you want, but we love orange cheddar cheese, diced red onions and pickled peppers. A few potato chips and some pickles on the side and you’re set!

  1. In medium saucepan, warm up chili and reserve.
  2. Meanwhile, heat grill to medium heat and grill hot dogs until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  3. Warm up buns over indirect heat.
  4. Spread buns with mustard, top with frankfurters, chili, cheese, red onions and pickled peppers.
  5. Serve with pickles and potato chips.


  • 1 pack Farm Boy™ Sweet Potato & Black Bean Chili (680 ml)
  • 1 pack Farm Boy™ All Beef Frankfurters (450 g, 10 per package)
  • 1 bag Farm Boy™ Hot Dog Bun (8 per package)
  • 1/4 cup yellow mustard
  • 1 cup Old Cheddar Cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup red or white onions diced
  • 1/2 cup Farm Boy™ Hot & Sweet Pickled Peppers (250 ml)
  • Farm Boy™ Organic Baby Dill Pickles (500 ml)
  • Farm Boy™ Sea Salt Potato Chips (185 g)
