Oven Roasted Shawarma Chicken

  1. In medium bowl combine olive oil, garlic, cumin, paprika, allspice, cinnamon, turmeric, harissa powder, salt and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Place chicken breasts in resealable plastic bag and add marinade mixture. Make sure it coats chicken well.
  3. Marinate 2-4 hours. Preheat oven to 375°F. Place chicken breasts on greased baking sheet and bake 20-25 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  4. Slice thinly and serve with rice pilaf and roasted potatoes.
  5. Variation: slice thinly and serve on pita bread, garnished with Farm Boy™️ Hummus, Farm Boy™️ Tabouleh and Farm Boy™️ Pickles.


  • 6 chicken breasts boneless, skinless
  • 1/3 cup Farm Boy™ Extra Virgin Olive Oil (1 L)
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tsp Farm Boy™️ Ground Cumin
  • 2 tsp Farm Boy™️ Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Farm Boy™️ Ground All Spice
  • 1/4 tsp Farm Boy™️ Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Farm Boy™️ Ground Turmeric
  • Farm Boy™ Harissa Seasoning (58 g) to taste
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
