Salmon Tataki with Spicy Slaw

This salmon tataki recipe is super quick to put together and it looks so impressive you may want to serve it on your next dinner with that special someone.

A very quick and easy slaw made with Napa cabbage, bell peppers, green onions, and our new Farm Boy™ Microgreens dressed with a deliciously spicy dressing makes the bed for this thaw-and-serve salmon tataki – you will have this starter on the table in no time.

Directions

  1. In small bowl, combine ginger, sesame oil, soy sauce, fish sauce, sugar, chili and lime juice.
  2. Whisk and make sure sugar dissolves.
  3. In medium bowl, combine Napa cabbage, bell pepper, green onion and microgreens.
  4. Add dressing and toss gently to combine.
  5. Arrange salmon tataki over salad. Garnish with 1 Tbsp red bell pepper and microgreens and serve with lime wedges.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 tsp ginger grated
  • 2 Tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 Tbsp low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 Tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tsp granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Thai Chilli minced or to taste
  • 1/2 lime juiced
  • 1 cup Napa cabbage very thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup red bell pepper minced, plus 1 Tbsp for more garnish
  • 2 Tbsp green onion thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup Farm Boy Organic Crunchy Mix Microgreens (65 g)
  • 1 pack Salmon Tataki thawed in refrigerator overnight
  • Lime wedges for garnish
