We have various reusable bag options for you to try.

We encourage you to BYOB– bring your own bags – when you shop with us, as we no longer offer plastic grocery bags at checkout.

You may have noticed we’ve started eliminating other single-use plastics like cutlery, straws, and some foods containers. Eliminating plastic grocery bags in our stores is the next step we’re taking to do our part in taking better care of our environment.

If You Forget Your Reusable Bags or Need New Ones, Don’t Stress!

We understand building new habits is tough. So, if you forget to bring your shopping bags with you or if you need to stock up, we have a great selection of paper and reusable bags to meet all your grocery toting needs!

When are plastic grocery bags being eliminated from stores in my area?

Single-use plastic grocery bags are eliminated in all stores province-wide since June 1st, 2021.

Will cashiers still help me pack my reusable bags?

Yes, cashiers are happy to help pack your reusable bags and any bags purchased at checkout.

What if I don’t bring reusable bags?

We have a variety of options available for purchase including paper bags with handle (35 cents) and reusable bags (starting at 25 cents), as well as reusable foldable boxes, insulated bags, and backpacks. Ask a member of our team in-store to help you find them.

Can I still use a plastic bag to separate meat from produce?

Our plastic produce bags, meat bags, and bulk bags will still be available, however, we encourage customers to use these bags thoughtfully and try to seek out reusable options when possible as we continue to remove unnecessary plastic in our stores.

May I bring my own containers for meat, deli, cheese, and chef purchases?

For food safety reasons, we are not able to accommodate your personal containers.
