Instructions
  1. In medium saucepan place wild rice blend, chicken stock and salt.
  2. Bring to a boil and then simmer, covered, until all liquid is absorbed.
  3. Meanwhile, in large frying pan, heat olive oil and cook onion, celery, carrot and garlic until golden brown.
  4. Mix in pecans, parsley and sage.
  5. Add cooked rice and ½ cup pomegranate arils.
  6. Season to taste with salt and pepper and serve garnished with additional pomegranate arils.
