Recall Issued for Salinas, California Grown Romaine Lettuce Due To Possible E. Coli Contamination

Ottawa, ON – November 23, 2019 (updated November 28, 2019) –  The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has issues an industry wide recall on Romaine Lettuce grown in Salinas, California, due to possible E. Coli Contamination. Consumers should not consume the recalled product described below.  The products have been removed from our stores.

Customers are asked to destroy any of the impacted product and bring a receipt or product label back to the store where purchased for a full refund.

(EST. 598) is recalling Bavarian Premium Meats brand Headcheese from the marketplace because it contains mustard which is not declared on the label. People with an allergy to mustard should not consume the recalled product described below. The product, sold in the Farm Boy Deli, has been removed from our stores. Farm Boy is notifying consumers of the following recall on our Diamond Salad Sandwich Platters due to possible contamination of the diced chicken used to make these platters. Consumers should not consume the recalled product described below. We have confirmed that Farm Boy did not stock the Eat Smart Sweet Kale Salad Kit with a Best Before Date of FEB 16, 2019.

Ottawa, ON – February 9, 2019 – Les Services Alimentaires Firouz Inc. today announced a recall that affects Betty Bread Brand Whole Wheat Buns sold at our stores, because the products may contain extraneous material, as detailed on the CFIA website. Customers should not consume the recalled products described below. Customers who purchased these items can return them to any Farm Boy location for a full refund.
