| Whisk together sugar, cornstarch, cocoa, and salt in a medium saucepan. In a 4 cup measure, combine cream, milk and vanilla.
Gradually add to dry ingredients while whisking until smooth.
Over medium heat, cook, whisking constantly, until mixture comes to a boil and thickens.
Add chopped chocolate and stir until all chocolate is melted.
Remove from heat, whisk in butter until melted.
Pour into dessert cups or layer with whipped cream and your favourite chocolate cake recipe for a most decadent chocolate trifle.
Garnish with whipped cream and grated Callibault chocolate.
